Hilton @
Home agents perform the same role as onsite Reservations
and Services Specialists - handling inbound customer
service requests. All home-based agents are required to
live in the vicinity of a Hilton call center in order to
meet training and monthly attendance requirements. Work at
home agents are treated as regular W-2 wage earning
employees.
Requirements
- Flexible for
scheduling – based upon business needs.
- Excellent
communication skills including the ability to speak,
read and write fluently in English.
- Steady job history.
- Basic computer skills
including navigational skills and the ability to conduct
internet searches.
- Ability to pass
reference checks, drug screen, and a criminal background
check.
- Ability to sit in
front of a PC monitor for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or
equivalent.
- Dedicated home phone
with ability to make local calls. This phone line may
not be through a VoIP (i.e.; Vonage, Skype, etc.). If
you do not currently meet these requirements, you must
be willing to have a landline with the outlined calling
capabilities installed at your expense no later than two
weeks after your start date.
- High speed internet
access with a minimum speed requirement of 768Kb/s.
FIOS, DSL, and cable are supported. Satellite and dial
up are NOT supported.
- You will provide the
monitor, headset, phone and surge protector; HRCC will
provide the computer, mouse & keyboard and firewall.
- Have a home office
environment that is professional, safe, and free from
background noise and distraction.
- Be able to attend paid
training, on-site at one of Hilton's Call Center. All
training sessions run Monday - Friday for five or seven
weeks. 100% attendance is required (no absences or
tardies).
- Must be able to work
required number of hours per week.
- Be able to work
on-site at one of Hilton's call centers one scheduled
shift per month.

Compensation
Work at home
Reservations Specialists are paid hourly, typically $8-$10
per hour to start. During training agents are paid $7 per
hour.
