services, primarily in support of fundraising campaigns
for numerous PBS stations across the United States.
Work
From Home Jobs
ACD employs
home-based agents receiving inbound pledge calls,
accepting donations in support of public broadcasting
stations nationwide. Work at home agents are employed as
independent contractors.
Requirements
- Call center experience
(preferably work at home) is a MUST.
- A high quality
computer with high speed Internet service.
- You must have a
dedicated phone line without Privacy Plus, etc.
- Your work space must
be a dedicated office with a door.
- ACD has zero tolerance
for background noises during calls.
- You will be required
to complete all initial training before taking calls.
- You are expected to
complete ongoing/recurrent training.
- You must remain up to
date on all resources that relate to your call types.

Compensation
You are paid
per minute of talk time with some incentives.

Notes
- ACD requires that you
pay a $30 fee for a background check. The company is a
legitimate employer and this is a required expense if
you want to work for them.
- Jobs with ACD are in
high demand. It can take up to six months for your
application to be reviewed and for ACD to contact you.
- Employment with ACD is
seasonal, with most of the work available during PBS
Pledge Drives.
