VIPdesk Set to Add 1000
Home-Based Virtual Contact Center Agents
Company to
host live virtual open house webinar as it seeks to
recruit 1000 new work at home agents.
Virtual call
center operator VIPdesk is moving forward with plans first
announced in 2007 to
add 1000 home based virtual contact center agents to their
operation.
VIPdesk is a
global outsourced provider of contact center and concierge services to
companies in industries including financial services,
travel, retail and automotive services, and currently
employs around 300 work at home agents.
Home-based agents working for VIPdesk are termed "Brand
Ambassadors" by the company. Agents handle inbound
and outbound
customer contacts for VIPdesk clients via email, instant
messaging and by phone.
All VIPdesk home-based agents are employed as
independent contractors versus regular W-2 employees,
and earnings range from $14-$20 per hour.
The company will host a live "virtual open house" webinar
on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 2pm EDT to answer
questions and introduce the company's work at home
opportunity to those interested in learning more.
