Virtual Call and
Contact Center Operator Arise to Employ 4000 More Home Based Agents by Year-End
Arise
Virtual Solutions, leader in the home-based virtual
contact center industry, announced today it is seeking to
hire 4,000 new independent customer interaction
professionals across the country between now and the end
of 2008. The demand for new agents is based upon Arise’s
rapidly expanding client roster of premium brands, which
includes Home Depot, Carnival Cruise Lines, AAA and
Verizon.
Arise screens and certifies thousands of independent
professionals that invest in their own training and
equipment to answer calls, e-mail and provide interactive
chat services from their home offices. Operating as
individual small businesses, or Virtual Services
Corporations (VSCs), Arise agents choose specifically when
and with which Arise clients they would like to work. The
company’s mission is to match the capabilities of the
professionals with the goals of its clients and the needs
of their customers – inspiring trust and creating results
for those it connects.
“Our success and increased demand for Arise Professionals
is a testament to the quality of people and exceptional
service we strive to provide to our clients,” stated Mary
Bartlett, Vice President of VSC Relations and
Communication at Arise. “With pressures to reduce carbon
footprints, budgets being cut and layoffs occurring in the
traditional call center industry,
‘homeshoring’ is actually growing because companies
recognize the value and convenience of the Arise model,”
she continued.
Arise seeks talent from a variety of groups that may
benefit from a flexible, independent home-based work
model, including stay-at-home moms, military spouses,
retirees, college students and the disabled, among others.
The company also is actively looking for Spanish bilingual
agents and those with an interest in consumer electronics
sales. VSCs can service Arise clients on either a PC or a
MAC. “We have a variety of immediate client needs, and are
ramping up for our retail clients’ holiday rush as well,”
added Bartlett.
One Arise Certified Professional, an Arizona-based
stay-at-home mom, commented, “The flexibility of working
from home and around my family’s schedule is unbeatable,
not to mention the savings on gas.”
Arise currently services multiple Fortune 500 companies
with recognizable name brands. In its eleventh year as the
leading virtual services provider, Arise focuses on
delivering better business solutions to organizations that
can most benefit from engaging an outsourced home-agent
program. The company specializes in providing
multi-channel customer support to clients in the retail,
financial services, travel/hospitality, utilities and
health care sectors. This includes basic and complex
levels of tech support, roadside assistance, providing
insurance quotes, consumer goods sales, and travel
reservations, among others.
