Job Description

Staples currently has work-at-home opportunities out of our new contact center located in Baton Rouge, LA. These positions involve receiving incoming calls and providing superior customer care and sales with the intent of providing customer satisfaction and retention, and meeting sales goals.

Requirements

Candidates must be available to attend onsite training at our Baton Rouge contact center. The training will take approximately 4 to 6 months. After training is completed, work-at-home agents work from their home and report to the contact center approximately once a month for meetings and training.
Must have a secure, private area in your home or work location to take phone calls.
Work area must be free from all outside noise and distractions during the entire work schedule.
The work location must be in the Baton Rouge local calling area.
Must have a reliable high-speed Internet connection (no dial-up connections).
Work-at-home agents must also consent to periodic home workstation visits.
Previous call center experience.
Positive attendance record and work history.
Must be able to pass a complete background check including a clean criminal history.
Excellent oral communication skills, above average or average written communication skills.
Customer service oriented aptitude and skills.
Excellent Data entry/typing skills.
Ability to quickly navigate the internet using multiple screens at one time.

Compensation

$9.05 per hour to start.
