Description
Hilton Reservations &
Customer Care (HRCC) handles inbound
reservation request calls for all Hilton Brands,
including: Hilton, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites by
Hilton, Conrad, Hampton Inn and Suites, and DoubleTree
Hotels. Hilton at Home team members perform the same role
as on-site Reservations and Services Specialists. You will
receive inbound calls from people across the country and
assist them in making reservations for our hotels and
resorts.
Requirements
- You MUST reside in the
813 area code (Metro-Tampa) area to be considered for
this position. Please do not apply if you do not reside
in the 813 area code.
- Flexible for
scheduling – based upon business needs.
- Excellent
communication skills including the ability to speak,
read and write fluently in English.
- Steady job history.
- Basic computer skills
including navigational skills and the ability to conduct
internet searches.
- Ability to pass
reference checks, drug screen, and a criminal background
check.
- Ability to sit in
front of a PC monitor for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or
equivalent.
- Dedicated home phone
with ability to make local calls to numbers in the 813 area code. This phone line may not be through a
VoIP (i.e.; Vonage, Skype, etc.). If you do not
currently meet these requirements, you must be willing
to have a landline with the outlined calling
capabilities installed at your expense no later than two
weeks after your start date.
- High speed internet
access with a minimum speed requirement of 768Kb/s.
FIOS, DSL, and cable are supported. Satellite and dial
up are NOT supported.
- You will provide the
monitor, headset, phone and surge protector; HRCC will
provide the computer, mouse & keyboard and firewall.
- Have a home office
environment that is professional, safe, and free from
background noise and distraction.
- Be able to attend paid
training, on-site at our facility. All training sessions
run Monday - Friday for seven weeks. 100% attendance is
required (no absences or tardies). Post training
schedules will vary but will consist of primarily
daytime, afternoon, and early evening hours. All
schedules will include weekends.
- Must be able to work
25 hours per week.
- Must be able to work
on-site as needed due to performance/technical issues.
Important: If
qualified and selected for employment, you must be
available to attend paid training at Hilton's Tampa Bay
Florida call center from 9am-2pm M-F beginning on October
3, 2008 and lasting 7 weeks. Additionally, you be able to
work on-site as needed due to performance/technical
issues.

Compensation
The starting pay for this
position is $9.00 per hour, plus monthly incentive. (Note:
Rate is $7.00 per hour during the first six weeks or your
training period.)
