Description
Ascend One Corporation is
currently seeking qualified applicants to be trained as
Customer Care Coaches. Customer Care Associates answer
questions and provide assistance to existing customers of
the Ascend One family of companies, engaged in the
business of debt consolidation and consumer credit
counseling.
Important: If
qualified and selected for employment with Ascend One, you
must be available to attend 5-6 weeks of paid training in
Charlotte North Carolina in August or Columbia Maryland in
September.
Requirements
- High school diploma or
general education degree (GED). Some college and/or
college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1.5 years
of related customer service work experience required,
including some prior call center experience.
- Experience in other
customer service support areas (such as resolution or
creditor services) preferred.
- Proven successful
experience with customer account management and
relationship building.
- Prior experience in
working with multiple products and/or services,
preferably in a financial environment.
- Excellent
relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and
written communications skills (including grammar and
spelling).
- Accurate keyboarding
skills.
- Strong critical
thinking skills to resolve daily and escalated issues.
- Strong problem-solving
and analytical skills, to be used to effectively resolve
client issues, and proactively identify other client
needs and opportunities.
- Ability to construct
clear, concise, professional, and informative email
communications.
- Independent
decision-making ability, including the ability to
determine when to solicit other resources and/or
escalate issues in need of additional attention.
- Working knowledge of
internet, word processing and e-mail software.
- Ability to work
effectively with minimal supervision.
- Requires a dedicated,
private home office, computer, high speed internet
connection, and phone line ("land" line, not VOIP) to be
used when working from home.
- Ability to work an
evening schedule (such as M-F, 1pm-10pm) or a schedule
that includes four weekdays plus Saturday (such as
M,T,W,F, and Saturday, 9am-6pm).

Compensation
Starting Salary
$28,000-$34,000.
