Telecommute - 100K Technical Sales for Internet Security -
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break
into 100K+ income with a great high-end sales career.
Avoid the long commutes and come work for a winning team
in North County San Diego. This is a cubicle, telephone
sales job. We will consider entry-level post college grads
and those with sales experience. BorderLAN Security calls
on businesses and various organizations that need our
products and services. The average sale is around $10,000
so this is no telemarketing job! It's a high-end sales
opportunity that requires the right type of person. You
have to love the phone, the hunt, and be ok with
professional job stress. We have fun, work hard and are
very flexible for any personal family needs. Telecommute
outside of San Diego will also be considered.
BorderLAN
LLC, www.borderlan.com
is a North County San Diego Reseller established in 2006
focusing on Internet Security Products. The product lines
range from Internet Filtering, SPAM filtering, firewalls,
bandwidth shapers, encryption, backup, Log Management,
Reporting and Professional Services. We have a growth
initiative and are looking to hire and train 3 more
employees in the Security Sales group. Our growth
initiatives will continue until we reach 50+ employees. We
are moving to a new location in late March 08’ and want
to fill the positions ASAP.
About the
Positions: (Currently 3 open)
You will be entering as an Account Manager. Account
Managers find deals by calling on the phone, emailing and
marketing. For the first 4 weeks we offer 5-hour flexible
workdays where you will be on the phone, attending
webinars and learning about the products, and will have a
commission only pay structure at 10% of sales. If after
the 4 weeks you are performing to your managers
expectations, you will be offered a base salary plus $10
p/hr plus 10% commission on all sales. After you have
completed 90 days of employment with BorderLAN and have
attained 20K in sales, your probationary period will
expire and management will evaluate your status. Typically
this results in moving you to full time 8hrs. Your annual
quota for year one will be 900K. Once your quota has been
achieved, the president will consider you for a promotion
to Sr. Account Manager, which offers increased base pay,
additional vacation time and higher health bonus.
Throughout your employment the bulk of your pay is
commission (about 82%), therefore, sales efforts such as
50 calls p/day is a requirement to keep building a
pipeline of business. There is no signing bonus, but we
will train you for free.
What we are
looking for is: A college grad, or anyone who has work
experience but wants to launch a career in security sales,
and build to sales management. Our positions are lucrative
and demand a self-starter with a hunger for learning. We
hire attitude and enthusiasm above everything else, so
phone skills, and communication skills are essential. We
also look for someone with charisma, as we will be
occasionally going onsite to our prospects and presenting
in front of groups. We are still in startup mode in our
facility and practices.
Education:
College Graduate preferred.
Skills Required: Typing, communication, perfect English
speaking skills, phone skills, able to learn, hunter
mentality, willing to take on any challenge.
